Illegal driving is rife among young drivers, according to recent research, with this being the case for more than half of young drivers. And although driving equates to freedom, this doesn’t mean that it comes cheap.
Although there is a way to save money, which is becoming increasingly popular despite being illegal. Research has revealed that ‘fronting’ is popular among more than half of young drivers.
‘Fronting’ is the name given to the situation when a driver decides to help cut the costs of another driver’s insurance, regularly their own children.
Should a driver declare themselves as the main driver of a car, putting a younger driver on the insurance as a named driver, this is known as “fronting.”
